Rough loss. We looked off the pace down our left edge and failed to capitalise on two (Moses break/Norman drop and Gutherson break/Davis drop) chances that would have had us back in it in the first half. Definitely copped the rough end of the pineapple from the officials today though which didn't help.

3. Bevan French
2. Manu Ma'u
1. Nathan Brown

Tough one. We weren't as bad as the score suggested IMO but our attack was abysmal at the same time.

3-Manu Ma'u. 130m, 30 tackles.
2-Nathan Brown. 110m, 36 tackles
1-Daniel Alvaro. 105m, 30 tackles.

None of the backs were worth points IMO bar French, who was close. Moses tried his guts out but Corey way overplayed his hand. Davis a bit unfairly maligned, outplayed Semi on club debut.

I thought Mannah's early carries were strong - dragging merkins and landing on his guts. He just didn't make enough of them.

I agree Poo. He generally landed on his front as well and seemed more energetic in defence. I thought it was his best game in a while.
Matagi was enormous starting the week prior. Ive no idea why he was shifted to the bench. He was pretty infective. Tepai was obviously strugling with injury.
Our team needs the bye desperately. I fear BAs style of play accounts for a lot of injurys while at the same time not being able to slow momentum. Its also tends to tire our forwards more quickly as evident by our poor performances at the end of each half. Maybe a rethink of defensive tactics is warranted?
