Knights currently top of the table.
Named an unchanged starting lineup.
Two bench players dropped - Rob Mason and Lachlan Shiperd out and James Elias and Kailem Perkins in.

James Elias played for NSW as a centre at under 16s level and played under 18s and NYC last year as a second row and centre. He is a bit small but a real terrier in attack and defence.
Kailem Perkins is a new signing who played Qld Cup for Mackay Cutters last season. I don't know what position he plays.

You can find all the teams right here. http://www.leagueunlimited.com/article.php?newsid=22368

Couple of interesting line-ups.

For the Broncos centre Matt Berwick & five eigth Bryce Hegarty have been ruled out due to injury. Their replacements will be Corey Oates & Louis Frisby.

Oates will be making his debut. He was named in the AIS preliminary squad before an injury ruled him out ahead of the tour. His natural position is in the backrow but he has the mobility to cover in the centres. He's a tall player and a noted try scorer.

Frisby is in his 3rd and final year of TC. He has a Union background and represented Queensland in Under 18's League. He's a solid enough player with a balanced kicking game and a good support game.

The rest of the team resembles the one that lost to Parramatta.

Around the grounds, Jack Wighton who had a real strong game against Melbourne is set to make his first grade debut against the Gold Coast Titans pending the judiciary.

Melbourne have named Denny Solomona, Mahe Fonua, Ben Hampton & Tohu Harris in their NYC side. Originally these players were slated to play in the Queensland Cup but it appears they'll start the season in the NYC.

Strong team named by the Storm this weekend. Could have beaten Canberra if they were a bit smarter with the ball last week but theyll be better for it. Victorias first Oz schoolboy makes his debut this weekend in Richie Kennar. 188cm, 99kg and doesnt turn 18 till December, reminds me alot of Issy, who I saw plenty of at the same age, though not at his level of talent....yet.

Doesnt have his strength but a fair bit quicker and a similar leap.

West Tigers 50 def. Manly Sea Eagles 24

Brisbane Broncos 26 def. North Queensland Cowboys 20

Timu had another strong game for the Broncs. Tight game, scores were levelled until halfback Cullen took a late intercept to separate the two teams.

Canberra 40 def. Gold Coast 24

Canberra were always the better team on the day. Mitch Cornish again continues to impress and their pack had it all over the Titans who IMO only had two stand outs in Binge & Hartin.

Fullback Jack Ahearn could find himself in big trouble. Looked to have legitimately push the referee in the back.

Good win by Knights.
Will Smith has always been a special talent - training with firstgrade this year has done him good.

storm too big strong and fast. 36-10 Score flatters the bunnies.

Tohu Harris great again Ben Hampton scores treble but quiet game really, mcgahan controlled things beautifully. Another big game from zac moimoi. Keep an eye on him, going to have a big year.

Oh and Richie kennar is a real handful, very very dangerous when he gets on the outside of his defender. Another Vic headed for 1st grade along with young and mahe.
