To be fair I can't remember many games last year we turned up for 80 minutes.
We don't want to play like the Roosters last week. Cocky and lazy expecting to win. Otherwise Souths will do what the Tigers did.
I feel like we have a perfect Storm brewing for a big win.

Souths beat us twice last year. Theres no way we take it for granted.
Our start last week will not want to be repeated.
Reynolds out. Rookie half in.

Our pack is much better. Aside from hooker.

Inglis returning from an ACL. Gagai is known for shitty club form. They have average as f**k wingers.

I dunno. I feel like this could be our best try scoring performance in some time. Blake with his first career hat trick.

Edit
Oh Souths have a rookie coach. Take a bit to get his team fired up and fix the little issues IMO.

We just need to fix the start and it'll be a good win. Like you said they'll be keen on not repeating it.

I still think the first few rounds are a lottery in regards to results. With the exception of Melbourne. I think it'll be a tough game for us. Gagai looked really good against the Warriors, so i assume he'll get plenty of early ball against Peach.

Hopefully that means Sivo's injury was minor. Good to see Tuisese back. He trialed well, but seems to have slipped down the pecking order.

Edit. saying that Crichton might be named in the extended first grade squad and drop back, pushing Tuisese out.

If we turn up for 80 minutes. I think we can go close to putting 50 on them.
FFS why even tempt fate by trying to rub their noses in it? I would be amazed if GI, Sutton and Sam aren't fired up. Remember last year? One intercept and they were away and smashed us like guitars.

Exactly. I never 'crow' before a game. Souiths are very capable of handing us Panthers a nasty lesson. I honestly can't understand the lack of respect given to teams before a ball is kicked in anger.

Deadset. Souths are shit and those losses last year will be avenged. I get shit for being too negative. Now for being confident?

Aside from Souths and Dragons. We beat the teams we should have last year. Smashed a disgraceful Tigers side in Round 2. Knights in Round 4.

Losing to Souths twice last year is why we are going to destroy them this year. They have an extremely vulnerable backline. Warriors destroyed them and so will we.

Considering how I got shot down for agreeing with some of your posts (I like a well reasoned argument, sue me) it almost seems like people just don't like you because of some history and don't even consider the content of what's being said.

Warriors destroyed them and so will we.

Not only that they made it look easy after 20 mins. Our speciality.

That home game against souths where Dave Taylor absolutely killed us still haunts me... I need to learn to let that go...
