We’ve Got A Lot Of Depth In The Side: Musgrove

    Mon 20th March, 11:57AM

Rabbitohs forward Zane Musgrove spoke to the media today following Souths 24-18 victory over the Newcastle Knights on the weekend.

Despite losing Captain Greg Inglis in round one to an injury, Musgrove believes his teammates held their own and have lifted their game getting the job done to add another two points to the board.

“AJ stood up on the weekend, a lot of players stood up and got the job done,” said Johnston.

“It was good as it shows we’ve got a lot of depth in the side.”

Musgrove is confident in the depth of the squad and is looking forward to the rivalry match against the Sydney Roosters at ANZ Stadium on Thursday night.

“Always when you’re coming up against the Roosters there are battles all over the park, in the halves, there is always another level when you’re coming up against a side like the Roosters.

“I’m still confident, we’ve got other boys there to slot in and do the job.”

View the full interview with Musgrove in the video player above.

Gonna be a tough game but I can't wait to carry on our rivalry!

Moceidreke has been tipped to get the other wing spot. He got four tries for the bears.

Tom should be in too. He was awesome for the Bears as well.

I will be there just noticed our next 6 games are all Fridays. And I'm about to start 6 weeks of afternoons. Fantastic :(. At least there's good Friday in there that I will get to.

As I am saying in a few threads I repeat play Moceidreke!!!!

Don't play Nielsen or Murphy as that's a recipe for disaster.

I didn't think the Hunt tackle was that bad and he gets 4 weeks. FFS.

I've just cut the cord with Foxtel. Can you get them on demand with channel 9?
I would check myself but the rain seems to have f**ked our phone line and Telstra can't make it until Wednesday.

Hunt had a prior record plus carry over points it seems. The charge carried 400 points (100 equals 1 match) and even with an early plea he had 450 points accrued. With an early plea with no record or carry over he would have only served 3 weeks. The punishment fit that tackle

Good news R20 I heard that we've seriously looking at Sitiveni for the wing spot! Hopefully he gets a gig

There's always the NRL live pass. It's free if you have a Telstra mobile
