Sorry that the results aren't up yet guys. I've done most of it, just have to award marks to some people. It's been a very high standard and I can't see any post going below 8! They should be up soon, I promise ;-)

NEWTOWN
Gorilla - 10
Very interesting post, and expressed well. Simply could not fault it.

Willow - 9.2
Shows good knowledge of RL history and obviously well researched.

Roopy - 8.5
Raises good points about the game in the US of A

Legend - 8.5
Good ideas; shows that expansion isn't impossible

Hass - 8.7
Top notch entertainment with argument.

44.9

EASTS
Lord Reynoldson - 9.5
Argues the point well, and highlights all the potential in other states.
Imagine how many more Johnses, Tallises, Peacheys and Lockyers there are out there.

The Backpacker - 8.9
Talks about loyalty coming into the game.

Brook - 9.3
Interesting account of how you get your team.

Ozzie - 8.7
Full of jokes, entertaining, and a bit of historical fact as well.

Penelope-Pittstop - 8.5
Inventive new concept of interviewing a player.

44.9

NEWTOWN 44.9 DREW EASTS 44.9

Referee's Mention goes to Penelope-Pittstop for introducing a new concept.

WOW ! What a game.

Special Congrats go to Gorilla with his faultless 10.0

Can it get any closer than that? I doubt it. Good luck with the rest of the season, Bluebags. I'm sure we'll meet again at a later date.

Well I'm glad I cropped my word count back down to the 750 limit. I was thinking "what's 0.2 of a point anyway? It can go over the limit". However it just goes to show that every point counts.

And I'm even more happy that Ozzie's post got it's full allottment of marks. I wouldn't have enjoyed winning on such a small technicality.

Thanks to everyone and congratulations to both sides on an entertaining performance.

P.S. The Bags still remain 'undefeated'.

Cheers.
