Is every player we get linked to really gonna get posted here? It'll be the longest thread ever  even bigger than the [email protected] thread...

That's the idea, i don't want to have to go to the NRL forum for my Roosters Fix.

Are we actually linked to anybody next year? The only rumour I have heard is some obscure telegraph article claiming we want Sonny Bill.

I really don't want Sonny Bill. I don't care how good a player he is, he's an overpriced turncoat

Apparently we're trying to get Hinchcliffe as a backup to Friend. Don't remember where I heard that from :S

Hinchcliffe would be ok as he can play second row as well.

What players are leaving at the end of the year (besides Myles)?

Ryles and Mini must be close to retirement...how long left on their current contracts?

We only sign 1% of the players we are linked with and the club is probably interested in 2% of them. Slow news day = Roosters in the media.

Mini and Ryles both expire this year iirc but Mini seems like getting a deal for next year unfortunately

Yes, i don't expect Ryles to be returning, But i wouldn't hate for Mini to come back. We were linked to Dugan, but from memory he signed with the Raiders, if we are going to let Mini go, then i expect we would have been linked with an "Allstar" Fullback by now, probably a few from the ESL aswell

Why not Rhys Pritchard? We need to get a hooker with attacking spark that isn't a jerk like Watts before a fullback imo Well, we badly need both but I'd prefer the hooker first.

I think Ryles may stay for another year. There's something in his contract that triggers a new one-year deal if he plays a certain amount of games. Well Brian Smith loves him at least.

Graham is certain to go and I think Linnett is still off-contract.

Looks like you guys have lost Nate Myles. Foxsports has reported that he signed a 4 year deal with the Gold Coast. Stuffed if I know how they are fitting all of their new players under the cap.

Spot on the money, one has to wonder about the Titans salary cap space...

Surely we have to have to have a big name signing next year...?

Business as usual: Roosters apparently trying to sign EVERYONE. At least they've kept it to one article.

Dugan is likely. Not sure why we'd go for a Union half and I hope we don't pay overs for that merkin Sonny Bill.

Roosters being used as leverge by other people to secure better deals, none of them will ever play for us.
