Is his defence really that bad? He is playing in the halves where it’s easier to be targeted and his missed tackles are probably around average for a half.

While I wouldn’t be paying him big dollars or even targeting him as a half, I think he is the type of bench player we need.

He can play a few positions plus is big enough to play in the back row as opposed to just having a second specialist hooker on the bench. Has a decent running game.

We urgently need to strengthen the forwards before thinking about a half that has shown he is worse than Norman. Really think BA has got Paulo so according to him forwards are now right, lets look at the halves. I reckon Norman would go much better with decent forwards and a new coach.

I agree, Marata is probably a certainty to stay, while for the right price I wouId keep Peni (is a good back up) and T. rex (gives us a big body on the edge).
