Money valley just generally doesn't suit back markers. I hate the track from about 600m mark. Jockeys never seem to know when to go for their mount: it turns in to a big scrum - feels like I'm watching a race of trackside as a random horse gets spat out of the crush for the win

Don't mind it, you just have to look for market movers generally a very good guide at MV and also track specialists. That said, I rarely bet too much at MV.

It's definitely a specialist track, don't mind betting there. Unless the rail is out 10m on those friday night meetings and leaders win all night.

Yeah I never used to like betting at the Valley, but have learned you just need to approach your form differently.

Some horses just don't handle it so as a rule I usually don't back horses who haven't raced there previously, then you can pretty much pen any horse that draws wide or any back markers that draw close to the rails.

Which is why it is hard to tip the Cox Plate this year because by my train of thought I've pretty much penned them all :lol:
