This comp deserves full media coverage and tv broadcast. The quality is good enough without being fully pro.

lol, that's like saying the nrl should be full backpage everyday in the age and broadcast live into south africa. it just doesn't work like that.

also, some of these villages are pretty small. apart from toulouse and avignon it's like a comp of regional nsw towns. that seriously limits "reach" and public involvement.

True. I think they're on the right track, slow steady progress...

You've also got Lyon and Montpellier playing in Elite 2. Hopefully they can both one day consolidate a spot in 1st division and build from there...

Can't see beyond Carcassone for the double, they've been awesome so far and still have some imports to add to the squad. The way they are playing is as good as any championship team in England and it's clearly down to the new professional structure they've implemented.

Not really. He makes a few petty excuses for the performance in the Eurocup, basically saying the French did well to beat Scotland by 16 in Scotland, (when in reality the french should be well ahead of their level). Happy with the next generation of players coming through.

He says an announcement will very soon be made regarding the international fixtures for next year, with the RLIF clearly taking things a bit more seriously he says.

Thanks Miguel! Yeah I still can't believe France lost to Ireland! No disrespect to Ireland, but they really should have done better there.
