I saw Segeyaro at the star casino Friday night. I was very creative and said "go the sharks". He looked at me and turned away.

Was a great chat, very encouraging.
I did a similar thing with Fergo once. Then he signed with the roosters.

I dont agree with players breaking contracts but it has happened for ages, and actually i think clubs were first to break contract on players, i remember Parramatta doing it to Paul Taylor mid way through contract kicking him to kerb not keeping him to end of contract.

For Leeds, if Seggy does not want to play and they want to sue him, they may get some cash but as noted above they need a hooker, and if they dont and start the season losing, then they will need to pay overs to most probably an NRL to get a NSW cup player over there to fill the void.

We are actually in the prime spot, we have Cherrington, Brown, Brailey and Mortimer on the books, so say the Seggy issue drags out not playing for anyone we have coverage, Leeds will they will be under pump to do something fast

Or they just play hardball(like they are) and Seggy gives in after missing a couple pay checks. No NRL club will touch him so Seggy doesn't have a lot of options atm except to go over seas and play somewhere.

To be fair to Seggy, the contract extension with Leeds was not an easy one.

He had a deadline which he had to sign by which in turn didn't give him enough opportunity to test the water over here and see if any clubs were keen.

It was well played by Leeds. Basically sign now or lose it all

Twitter talk by Leeds supporters saying he will join them in January...

Also from the Silvertails forum so may be bullshit:

"Parcell to Leeds
Segeyaro to Sharks
Beale to Manly"
Works for me.
Who are the managers for those players??

I just don't know about this potential deal, not to judge (too harshly) but the man seems to be always partying and seems to hang with certain types.
Would love his talent in the team if he straightens up and puts in 100 percent on and off field for the club.

That Canberra guy - Jack Williams may get a go on the wing or is he another back row? Would love to see Capewell at least on the bench. Reckon he has earns it

Capewell has played a lot of wing. Most of the highlights you see of him on youtube he is wearing a wingers jersey. Id rather see him in the centres or backrow but hey, if the guy is getting a decent crack in firsts then Im happy for him. He could be our Corey Oates.
