English team Sheffield Hillsborough Hawk’s historic youth tour to Serbia took a further step in the right direction when local firm John Walker & Eric Boot of Central Gas Services made a three figure donation.

Coach Bernie Hunter commented:"We are grateful to Central Gas Serices for the support, it shows there is support from the local community of Hillsborough for what we are trying to achieve. In return the Hawks are committed to promoting the local community as strongly as possible"
The Hawks are due to depart to Serbia over Easter for a two game five day tour. If you would like to support the venture please contact Bernie Hunter on 07866327274.

Great work! Is this new club affiliated with Red Star Belgrade soccer team? Is that what you were trying to say?

Also good to see you guys with proper refs, great jerseys and proper goalposts with padding and all! It's also great that guys as young as U16 are playing the game in Serbia. Well done, good luck this year!

Congratulations.

I see Vereya managed to hold Loko to a draw in a pre-season match a couple of weeks ago. Do you know if the Serbian boys were playing?

Might actually see battles on the pitch shoud Partizan catch on as well, instead of battles on the terraces!

The Serbians are an example to all developing nations of how it should be done - and all down to more hard work than most of us could even imagine.

Good luck to all the teams for the new season!

Red Star RLC will try to get recognition of Red Star Belgrade Sport Association and then they will have easier way to have their own pitch and potentially a lot of boys will run into this club because Red Star is the most popular sport association in Serbia (jvujosevic wouldn't like this statement :)).
Partizan Belgrade already exist in RU in Serbia and some of their players are interested in playing RL and play versus Red Star in above-mentioned match. So, the foundation of Partizan is on stand-by, they just need to organize themselves and decide if they really want to have their own club or they will assimilate in other clubs. It would be great rivalry in this sport, but as Dorcol Spider, I think that they can fight for the second place only :D Of course, let's be patient and look what will happen in upcoming days.

Great news. Is it known where the matches will be held yet? All in Belgrade?

Also, best of luck to Serbia, because countries like England will have many (almost) professional players, so it's gonna be very hard.

I think that Belgrade will host all games, and as you said it will be hard for Serbia, but we will fight, like we did on Euro U19 in France, we almost won game vs. Scotland.
