The Sharks have named their team to play the Warriors, with NSW and Australian forward Aaron Woods a notable inclusion.

Woods joined the Sharks today after being released from the Bulldogs, with his new deal for the remainder of 2018 as well as the next three seasons.

He has been included on an extended bench, however is likely to head to New Zealand to face the Warriors on Friday night.

Woods signing is timely for a Sharks side battling injury, with both Luke Lewis and Wade Graham unavailable this weekend.

In their place comes Kurt Capewell and Scott Sorensen, with the later have been withdrawn from the NSW Residents Team on Sunday to ensure he would be fit and ready to go for the Sharks this Friday night.

Sorensen had been named captain of the NSW Residents team.

The Sharks will travel to Auckland tomorrow, before having a final training session in New Zealand on Thursday.

The extended team list for the Warriors game is listed below.

Compared to Woods, Uele is a badger with a thorn in its ass.
And so are half the mermaids.

Wouldnt mind seeing Uele and Paulo swapped to add some size and mongrel.

Yep, have to agree here.
Especially against a big Warriors pack that will probably dominate ours.

A bench of Uele, Segs, Woods and Boogs looks much bigger than one with Paulo on it. I love Joey don’t get me wrong but Uele wouldn’t go astray.

Maybe the plan is to run them ragged with dummy half runs and inside balls...

It would require Segeyaro playing more minutes and Holmes running off Gal, Fifita and Woods...
