Sharks to face the Raiders in Mollymook trial

The Sharks will play the Canberra Raiders in a trial match to be held at Mollymook Oval on Saturday, February 21.

While some of the Sharks high profile players could be missing from the lineup, coach Stuart Raper is treating the match very seriously in terms of his pre season preparations and as many as 15 of his NRL squad will take part. The Raiders, who are playing another trial against the Bulldogs in Coffs Harbour on the same afternoon, will also name at least 8-10 players from their NRL team for the match.

A Jersey Flegg trial will start the proceedings, kicking off at 5pm, while the main game will begin at 6.30pm. Admission to the game will be $10 for adults and $4 for pensioners and children.

Along with the trial matches, the entire Sharks squad of over 40 players will be conducting coaching clinics in the area and attending promotional outings. Arriving Thursday and departing Monday, the Sharks will also train in the area during their five-day stay.

The Sharks will name their team for the match by Wednesday prior to the game and it will be listed on www.sharks.com.au

For more information on ticketing, contact the Milton-Ulladulla football club on 02 4454 2842.
