Final round starts today.

WA and QLD are guaranteed spots in the final if they win outright.

TAS and VIC need outright wins and a little bit of help to make the final.

I know NSW is out of contention but here is the squad they have named;

Squad: Stephen O'Keefe (c), Trent Copeland, Scott Coyte, David Dawson, Phil Hughes, Simon Katich, Usman Khawaja, Nic Maddinson, Peter Nevill, Ben Rohrer, Steven Smith, Chris Tremain

Simon Kaitch has since pulled out and Jake Lalor is his replacement.

Despite being 30 years old and averaging 24 in FC cricket, David Dawson has been drafted into the NSW team and will play (Reports are that Lalor will carry the drinks)

Dawson has scored about a million runs in the Sydney Grade comp this season and if your picking players on form NSW haven't done much wrong, but surely with this being the last round and NSW out of contention they should be playing a few young blokes.

Whats happened to Kurtis Patterson? Is he injured? Cause if not, surely he deserved another go.

Ponting is Tassie captain today, Victoria dropped Carters the keeper and Handscomb has been given the gloves.
