Smith going really well, I hope he has a full season of First class cricket then maybe a one day berth for Australia beckons IMO.

Smith is playing as a batter so hard to see him missing out too much especially with bowling like this.

He is a genuine all rounder IMO, He has bowled 21 overs today so I would hardly say he is playing just as a batsman

Well hes in the batsmen spot so he'll be competiting with them rather than bowlers. But yes hes a genuine all rounder.

Also wonder what Shield Cricketers do on Melbourne Cup day. Do they have a drinks break while the race is on and have a radio brought out or do they keep playing and rely on the 12th Man to give them the results
