Should Woods & Tedesco leave the club now?

One of the few things about this club that I'm actually proud of is that we've never won a wooden spoon - a record that I really don't want to see snapped.
Let them play.

I woudn't be surprised to see a bit of a surge for the second half of the season if Brooks can stay on the field for most of it

I just read an article on Turdesco crediting his life coach for getting his body back together. To be fair I just skimmed it because I don't want to read about these merkins. This is the same life coach/cock whisperer that the club had to employ to keep the spoilt brats at the club and who when let go led to Taylor getting sacked.

I can't though wait until they are gone.

This

There have been quite a number of variables this year

Firstly we beat Cronulla & Eels if Moses doesn't tank it for us.

Then I reckon we beat the Dragons if Brooks was there

Yes that's what i meant..no team could have performed with all of that going on ....the dust has mostly settled so maybe they can get on with it now.

It's going to take a herculean effort to avoid the spoon this year. From this point in time if can rack up a few more wins and come 15th we should all be happy.

To do this we need to keep Tedesco and Woods. Even at half motivation they're still better than most of the other 15.

Having said that we can help ourselves by preparing for next year right now, in whatever small ways we can. As everyone else has pointed out most of the players in the 17 won't be here next year, but some will.

I'd personally switch Lolohea straight into fullback. He's really spent no time in any position at NRL level and fullback is such a specialised position, particularly in defence, he needs all the opportunity he can get to get accustomested to the talk that is required, positioning himself for kicks, and line breaks (he'll get plenty of practice at this in the back half of the season.)

There's always talk of a full off season of training and then start the season fresh is the way to go but there's nothing match practice. As it stands we're putting him into a position for half a year that is not in our long term plans for him, and all things considered he won't be playing for us again. Ever. Seems like madness.

Shove Tedesco in at 5/8 for the rest of the year. We can boo him and Woods to our hearts content at the end of the year.

I guess there a lot of excuses, but the fact is, if we get beaten this weekend, I believe we will in 16th position with for/against, that just sucks.
