You guys have a good one there. While he may have his rocks moments along with the diamonds, he is a absolute champion of a human being and will bring a lot to you club off the field.

He seems pretty loyal in that he didn't dog on his mate who he was carrying the gak for.

On the other hand he seems like a dumb dickhead for carrying his mates gak being a high profile footballer negotiating his last big contract.

I'm conflicted.

Do you know him personally? Would like to get your thoughts cause God knows we dont need a dickhead leading our young kids astray. Not saying SKD is but he does come with some baggage......

I do know him personally and there is no baggage. Misguided loyalty to DH team mates that left him in the lurch with something that wasn't his.
He is a terrific mentor and did a lot of that with the U20s and young players at the Roosters.
Basically just a terrific young man.
Guerrera while I don't really know him is also a decent bloke.

Neither are serial socialisers

Must admit that Brownie seemed to reflect he did do quite a bit of serious questioning of SKDs character as part of his due diligence in that interview I heard the other day and he did seem to support what you are saying too.

Will give him the benefit of the doubt. He's still a derp on the field, hopefully can produce more diamonds for us.

Well SKD is SKD ...
But watch the little things, he has the quickest play the ball and generally the next runner makes decent metres because of it

and no I am not related :)

He'll pull off tries that shouldn't be possible and he'll make mistakes that shouldn't be possible.

When we were dogshit last year he was far and away our best player and put in every week (wish i could say the same for Guerra...).

Hope he does well at Newcastle.

Underrated IMO, if he could manage to shake the odd terrible game he seems to come up with, he would be considered a star.

Will be your most attacking backline player straight away, barring maybe Gagai. Would have been pretty cheap because of that coke charge too..

As a primary school teacher, I have heard from experienced colleagues that teachers should never stay in a school for over 6 years as they get burnt out and the motivation drops. I dare say the same thing is true for elite sportsman. There are some exceptions to the rule though ie Paul Harragon. Hopefully a change will be as good as a holiday for Guerra and he'll get back to his best. Second rowers at times hit their peak around 30 years old.

.

Sounds a lot like what we had with BJ but unlike him hopefully SKD isn't a horrible human being (sounds like he isn't).
