they took it upon themselves to charge admission to a licensed premises, nothing wrong with that except it contravenes the liquor and licensing act, then again, desperate times calls for desperate measures

used to be a woman who would wear the tighest clothes/leather etc most times and she had big hair black in colour and wore layers and layers of makeup- someone said she has some kind of accident when she was younger(apparently was a part time model or something) requiring face surgery and plates in the skull etc etc -the locals nicknamed her madam lash?- others said she was actually a he a transexual?? - she/he didn't work at the club so obviously a different person

they still play baseball in parkes?? - we used to go each easter to a sporting festival in parkes which included baseball. We used to stay at the Cambridge Hotel for the 8 years or we went up there. Unfortunately on the ninth time we arrived to find out the former owners had sold the pub(they didnt inform us or pass on the annual booking to the new owners) to some bloke from sydney and he had all his mates and relo's staying their- lucky he had some spare rooms but we had 4 or 5 to a room- very tight squeeze. That was the last time we went but i dont think it continued much longer after that?.
