Can't get Iran apparently, so substitute them with Tunisia.
Lol - as if this pop gun attack gets a goal past Sweden!
I'm kinda kidding.
I'm stoked we made it to the Finals, but we seriously are in need of some striking power up front.
So I read the qualifiers are finished, 32 teams are through, when is the pool draw?
December 1st 3pm
Have no idea who would take over, but some fresh thinking might be a good thing.
Wonder what Guus is up to these days...
Guus was the best but he also had some decent cattle to work with
So we still going?
Hoping we get a weaker second and third team in our group than last cup
We could beat Uruguay with our history getting in their heads. Don't want Sweden, any other pot 3 is winnable
Just want to play some new teams. No Germany Spain please.
Would love to play England
draw is at 2am lads
Not bad. We have to be good enough to get a result against the danes.
Peru we should beat. France is a probable loss.
Whatever fifa did to rejig the selection process definitely worked. Groups are pretty even. Group A is pretty weak.
Draw has been pretty gentle to us. Well, not really, but it could have been a lot worse.
BTW, where's Tonga to give this world cup a lift and pull the crowds in???? Oh wait......
Group A: Russia, Saudi, Egypt, Uruguay
Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran
Group C: France, Australia, Peru, Denmark
Group D: Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria
Group E: Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Serbia
Group F: Germany, Mexico, Sweden, South Korea
Group G: Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England
Group H: Poland, Senegal, Colombia, Japan
Englad get another saloon ride into the 16. Whens the last time they had a tough group?
The only thing is i wouldnt want to underestimate the danes. They smashed ireland 5 - 1 last game.
I wouldn't underestimate any of the three, but they might underestimate us, which is my hope.
Well f**k, could have been better or worse.
Forget about France.
Denmark will be tough, Eriksen will be the danger-man. I think their defence is their weak link, even though the conceded the least in groups, they didn't exactly play against attacking powerhouses.. We could possibly get something from this match if we get our attack right.
Peru won't be a push over either, but realistically our best shot at 3 points. An aging Farfán is their danger-man but they haven't been here in a while so they will be hungry and looking at us like food.
England are chokers and probably won't get out of groups. Remember when they had Slovenia, USA and Algeria? lol
Separate names with a comma.
