To be fair he has won a premiership with the squad so the leniency has to be there. We only missed the finals last season for the first time under maguire's reign. Is it correct that we should be blaming the coach when it's obvious that the players aren't putting in?
I wouldn't call 2015 a failure!!!!! We still played a finals match.

Goodwin's shortcomings were ruthlessly exposed by the Storm tonight. Definitely is time for Bryson to go to the UK and collect his pension

Goodwin is not a fullback it is true. But he was so slow. He was not even getting in position to make a tackle on the Storm backs once they got into the clear. Time for him to go

Straight up bullshit. Something you're good at
Johnston also isn't a fullback. He has good kick returns and can field kicks okay, but his positioning is average and his passing/creation game is not NRL fullback standard.

He is undoubtedly one of the best wingers in the game.

Goodwin is a centre only. He has no idea as a fullback, like most centres to be honest.

Goodwin wasn't being exposed. The sloth-like lateral movement of the edge defences were. Souths struggle against fast moving sides. Its why the Tigers do so well against you guys. They lack the size to compete through the middle, so they play on the edges and run the Souths defence ragged.

Maguire needs more Angus Crichton's
