You may be able to help in the following week though mate, im in a punters club and have fallen way behind. Basically, i need to win about $200 this weekend to get first. I have $25, so basically i need something of odds 8/1 or better

I'm going to be looking at a multi bet, ill definitely be putting a few football games in there but there doesn't seem to be much else to bet on at the moment. Any thoughts?

Yeah the soccer is the go for the multis at this stage of the year. Then you got the basketball (NBL and NBA) as well as the NFL.

If you need 8/1 you want 4 or 5 legs I'd say. Or 3 2/1 legs...

I'm in NSW so either at the TAB or over the net using my phone/nettab account.

To add to that, you being in Melbourne I don't think you have all the options we do... My brother lives in Canberra and they only have limited amounts of options with things like doubles and trebles on the soccer etc.

In NSW you can put in whatever you like... My brother puts money in my account and then uses my phonetab to have his. I'd say I take a cut but the clown never wins :lol:

yeah, i think it is different down here. Damn, that sounds like it would be a good way to have a bet during the summer racing... although the Perth Carnival is starting to warm up now.

from memory you can have up to 10 legs in the multi. of course all of them have to win

the most i've ever won on them is about $400 off a $10 bet

had 5 legs i think and i remember the biggest paying was $5 or $6. once you pick the right "roughie" then 3 or 4 fav's will give you a good return

$6 x $2.00 x $1.50 x $1.30 x $1.20 for $10 = $280.80 collect

i've had a $800 multi win off a $10 bet.

It happened in 2003 i think it was........Manly to beat Panthers (thank you injuries to Campbell and Gower) into Eels to beat knights (thank you Michael Witt coverting try on final bell) into Warriors to beat Raiders (thank you faders for once again fading) into Swans to beat StKilda (no thanks here)....all were roughies hehehehe.

incorrect...well at least through centrebet i can put on as many options as i want up to the total dividend of $1001.

i did it during the Australian Tennis Open. Needless to say....i lost

Wales have had a few tough games against the Poms and NZ, and haven't shamed themselves too badly. Plus they are a proud team, and they will murder the Aussie front row who have reached a false peak by competing with a lacklustre Ireland pack.

Either way, they're great value against an Aussie team that at the moment is basically a disgrace.
