Gonna go out on a limb and say that hartnell will beat that multicultural field in Melbourne easily. His formlines are far superior

Opened at $3.50 and I've already had a decent lash at the $3.40 price. Silly price really.

The other one I like is the Japanese horse now trained by Darren Weir called Brave Smash in Race 8. Vega Magic is a gun horse and I backed it in the Goodwood but it's giving this horse kilos

Follow both for sure, but all credit with Vega had a wide-ish run and gave it weight and was too strong. Brave Smash had time to gun it down imo but it was first up and first run in Oz so could be open to plenty of improvement.

How lucky is Weir the hillbilly looking merkin, as soon as a horse starts showing any ability some rich merkin buys it and sends it to him to train..

Gets horses from WA, QLD, NZ, Europe and now Japan too

My fav horse Foxplay is a gun and had the charm run and still couldn't beat her

Got 21's for Foxplay in the Memsie yesterday.

Yep, would have won a bucket more if Brave Smash won but had a bit on the quinella which actually paid decent considering it was a sitter.

As I said today, Hartnell was the bet of the day, how on the blue moon did it start $3 again? Should have been $1.60. BHB was never beating Hartnell- it's just a better horse, simple as that.

Bloody No Doubt..biggest 'gonna' horse in Sydney...had the weight pull yet still couldn't catch Bonnie O'Reilly.
Only good thing it gives you is a refund on an each way bet. Just dont take to win in any combo...

Mind you nothing beats Heatherly for the worst jockey performance of the day...with Williams on Charlevoix a very close 3rd!
