He is Samoan isnt he?

No. Born in Aussie, I believe one of his parents is a kiwi and spent some years living in Auckland.

More Aussie than Kiwis thats for sure, but that's never stopped both sides from poaching before.

To be fair I think labelling Kemp a 'Germ' is rather unfair. Both sides are poaching players like it's going out of fashion, and losing a few high profile players like Tamou, Kasiano and Papalli will have a major effect on NZ's forward stocks. As much as I don't like the NZRL picking marginal players, I do understand why it's happening.

Tonumaipea was born in Samoa, grew up in Australia I think.

And youre right, calling Kemp a germ is a bit unfair. "Hypocrite douchebag" is more fitting. Milford is Australian.

Vaipuna Tia Kilifi posted on his Facebook that he needs to decide between Aus and NZ today.

Correct, all sides NZRL, ARL, QRL & NSWRL are all hypocrite douchebags.

If you look through the Junior Kiwis and Roos teams of the past 5 years the amount of poached players on both sides is pretty startling.

Evans and Napa added to the Junior Kangaroos squad;

http://www.roosters.com.au/news-dis...cted-in-Junior-Kangaroos-training-squad/64419

Junior Kiwis expected to announce an extended squad this week and then a final squad the day after the NYC grand final.

Funny thing is come next world cup.
Evans will be playing for Fiji and most likely Napa for the Cook Islands.

The napas are a rugby league family from Otahuhu, Auckland, NZ so he is definately eligible for the NZ team. With Cook island heritage
While I understand he is born and bred in QLD. His family are kiwis.

Another player who if given a choice would probably play for QLD and NZ.
As would Tamou and Papalii would of taken that choice also.

For such a proud nation - (Australia) and such great depth, pathways etc.
I think something will actually change ...because regardless of your opinions (which side of the fence you are on) it is devaluing our game.
The pride will come into play - while people use nathan fien as a comeback. etc.
Im not trying to start a battle

Is not clear?
Papalii, Tamou, Kasiano - would all prefer to play for Origin and
Not Australia - they would rather play for New Zealand than Australia.
That is the truth - I thought that it would have been tipping point for change. But no big changes have been introduced.
However many have pushed it aside saying they were developed in aussies etc.
Which in some cases true (many not) however doesnt make them australians (more so simply aussie developed).

Change are required.
What changes? well you cant remove choice of the player (in all cases).
But something needs to change with origin in particular.

Born and bred Australian's are not allowed to play for Australia now.

Who said that mate.
I just posed a few realities. They probably will be playing at the world cup as mentioned.

Evans and Napa rightfully have to opportunity to decide to play for Australia which they will most likely choose to exercise for the one off game.

Just wondering if you asked Napa to choose QLD/NZ or QLD/AUS what would he choose. He might go the the latter, but I know blokes like Papalii, Tamou etc would choose the former.

I believe both also have the right to play for NZ or Cook Island/Fiji respectively.
In particular I wouldnt of been suprised if Napa was in contention for NZ as some stage in the past or future.
