Will the MCG crowd top 90,000 again?

No one has been to a state of origin this year. #Originincrises.

Seriously though I do expect a big crowd at the MCG. 90k wouldn't be a stretch.

Well travelling fans would make up what? Say, 20 - 25k? So that is a good head-start for them

after drunky pants dummy Phil the Dill incorrectly , borderline Lied , about the tickets sales late last week
( he claimed only 20K general public tickets had been sold & the game was tracking for an embarrassing crowd of under 50K )

the NRL came out on the weekend giving the true figures
over 50K general public tickets sold , not including corporates or MCC members , meaning the game was on track for 80K plus. An outstanding number given some tickets were up to $290.00 to buy.

the NRL also indicated Sydney & Brisbane were also both on track to sell out with over 82K in Sydney & 52K in Brisbane
Entrenching SOO's place as the biggest annual sporting series in Australian sport.
