That starting 13 looks a lot like what I thought would be our full-strength side at the start of the season, with the exception of Latu in for Betham and Ropati in for Leuluai (which I don't think weakens the side too much). If that doesn't work then nothing will.

May well be paying the price for the just standing and watching Preston Campbell run 10 or so meters to score under the posts. Who knows.

So what happened to Wairangi Koopu and Danny Sullivan?! :shock: What's Koopu done to deserve a no show on the bench? Karl Te Mata goes from being our best in the first game to not even a run by game 3?

I think we're going to miss Meli - its hard to fathom just how much work he does for the forwards working it off our line. Nothing against Murph, he doesn't offer anything like what Francis does to the pack. I heard Murph was being released at the end of this season, I'm surprised then there's no mention of bringing in Vatuvei or Mellors in Meli's place instead.
