1. Thompson
2. Fonua
3. Tui - it's the only spot I can find for him. Maybe play MWZ here but I think Tui deserves first shot.
4. Marsters
5. Nofo

6. Marshall
7. Brooks

8. Packer
9. Taylor - it allows us to have a big pack and ET still can work defensively around the ruck.
10. Twal
11. Lawrence
12. Rochow
13. Eisenhuth

14. Matulino
15. Sue
16. Aloiai - rotate with Eisenhuth
17. Chee-Kam

I reckon we will see the same team as this week but I think we need to do something to give us better attack.

Mate, agreed we need to find some points.
Not sure that not having a specialist dummy half in the team is the way to go though.

Ivan has an interesting week ahead, Looking forward to the announcement on Tuesday.

I doubt there will be that many positional changes

Aloiai is confirmed to play, so probably him for Chee Kam that’s about it

It's a good point on not having a specialist dummy half. It's pretty stupid to do that. The team this year is so hard to pick because you want to fit a lot of players in to the top team.

I’d assume IC will stick with the same side,I am not a fan of Kev,I would replace him with either Fonua or Milne.
Sue,JJ and JA all offer something to our forwards and may find themselves on the bench sooner or later.

Tbh I reckon Fonua might work in the centres. He is shocking under the high ball

Its a nice position to be in isnt it?

Just coming off a great win for this club, that hopefully opens the door to a new era, missing several players and having trouble sticking them back in.

This is where Ivan starts earning his dollars. Because I wouldn't want the job tbh.

Tui is an interesting one. He seems too slow to play anywhere in the backline. I was shocked at how slow he was, I am hoping in the run down someone reports he had a leg niggle...

Is he? Awesome news if true. Even though I’d feel sorry for MCK.

In fact I’d nearly drop McIllwrick for Aloiai and have Taylor jump into Hooker for Godinet.

Yeah apparently he just jarred his knee. Likely to play this week, if not definitely the week after

Tui was that slow Ferguson was about to run past him without running at much of an angle away from him.

It will probably be same team and I know we said it before the roosters game but Melbourne will be another level . There wingers could have a field day if we have any bad reads in defence. Plus I'm sure Slater will be back aswell. We need to make this a grind aswell if we are any chance play mistake free football kick for touch don't let the back 3 run it back 50m.

Melbourne are good at winning games like we did against roosters.

Melbourne will throw so much more at us than roosters did. Watching Melbourne play through the trials and round 1 they looked like they haven’t missed a beat with life after Cronk.

I do actually feel their defense is more vulnerable than usual though, but their attack sure hasn’t lost spark

You cannot beat Melbourne in a grind. They are black belt masters. You have to out enthuse them and have some luck.

1. Lolohea
2. Nofo
3. Marsters
4. Naiqama
5. Thompson
6. Benji
7. Brooks
8. Eisenhuth
9. MM/Godinet (whoever can go longer)
10. Packer
11. Lawrence
12. Rochow
13. ET (can fill in at 9 if needed)

14. Matulino
15. Twal
16. MCK/Aloai/Mcqueen
17. Sue/Grant/Felise

We need Nofo back. I don't know why he wasn't included but we need his power getting us out of our 20. Thompson is killing it soI've him to left wing. Lolohea didn't do anything to lose his spot

16 and 17 should be completely up for grabs in my opinion. All the other forwards should keep their spot

I reckon we need Nofo and Fonua. Tui also deserves his spot. I'd drop Naiqama and probably MWZ although he also doesn't deserve to lose his spot.

1. Tui
2. Nofo
3. Marsters
4. Fonua
5. Thompson

I reckon if Aloiai is available he has to get a spot as well. I even think Sue and Felise must be real close to getting a shot. The backline though needs changes more than the pack.

I reckon we get the same team though until we have a loss or two.

Best win for the club in years and punters want wholesale changes!

Let the boys who got the job done keep their spots, although I'd have Aloiai back if fit and ready as presumably he would have been there in Round 1.

If Tui wants to stay and FB he needs to push up in support. I dont know if it is fitness or game awareness but three times Marsters broke thru and was begging for someone to pass to on the inside and was all by himself. Marsters has a natural right foot step which means he needs to be supported on the inside. Whoever is FB needs to be in Marsters back pocket on the inside every time he gets the ball.

This is where points will come from for us (In the earlier rounds anyway). Not thru fancy ball playing or constructed play but by being there and converting chances.

Dont want to be too critical of Tui, he tried hard and absolutely nailed that pressure kick from the sideline (After missing a sitter) I am pretty sure this will be addressed during the week.

Still chuffed with the effort. I dont reckon these guys know how much joy they give us with a good effort and an occasional whole hearted win.
