Part of me would rather 28 NRL games or so and no trials. I know trials are there for a reason but couldn't they just hold opposed sessions or something?

I know I'd rather pay for a competitive game than see a half assed team get walloped in woop woop.

The players wouldn't be happy about player welfare.

Yeah I understand that. Either have 30 games and play each other twice or have 15 games and play each other once I don't like the inbetween but I guess that's what we're dealt with.

I wouldn't worry too much about the draw, injuries and form play into things so you never know what you're gonna get.
