I was planning on getting an Australian Navy flag (it's red rather than blue), and putting either the Dragons emblem or the STGI symbol over the top of the Union Jack. Let's see if it happens though!

Yeah, anything to get that sh*te off or stars would be nice.

As for the Wendell / Torres song, there used to be great drug references in it during the initial drafts that had to be cut out...

Like I put in the Dragon Army thread last year, I think something like this would be good. It can really echo around some of the grounds with better acoustics, and it's not hard to remember:

Stgeorge, oh Stgeorge, oh Stgeorge said aye
I'll stand at Kogarah, 'till the day I die
Take me to the army, down at Jubilee
And I'll follow Stgeorge, the greatest football team.

Words could use editing as it's mainly based around Kogragh as you can tell. Just a rough idea. It wouldn't be too bad when the players are running out maybe.

I’m a Liverpool supporter as well as a Saints Freak so
I thought what if we change the Torres song a little
It would go something like this

Torres song revamped for Jamie soward,

His helmet proved he was a saint , soward, soward
His chip and chase is just so great, soward, soward
He sets em up, he scores em to, this little general is just so good,
his Jamie Soward Saint George’s number 6

The big red V he wears with pride, soward, soward
He’s gonna deliver the priemership , soward, soward
He sets em up, he scores em to, this little general is just so good,
his Jamie Soward Saint George’s number 6

na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na na na, na na na na

His Jame Soward st george’s number 6

What do use think ????

It's good, but so is the other version of the song on the other page. We could use the second verse of yours and the first of the other.

It's good, but the second line doesn't rhyme (Unless I'm reading it wrong). I can't really think of anything, the first thing that came to mind though was "He's gonna f**k you up tonight" hahaha.

That's good mate, but the Torres song only has one verse. There's no room for your second verse.

So if you imagine singing this in the same manner as Liverpool fans sing the the Torres song then it just be this.

He is the dragons great five eight….Jamie, Jamie
The man the roosters didn’t rate, Jamie, Jamie
Sets em up and scores em too
Does the dance and slots it through
Jamie Soward, St George’s number 6

na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na na na, na na na na

his Jamie Soward Saint George’s number 6

The first line could do with losing a syllable to make a bit less drawn out. I would achieve this by replacing "the dragon's" with "St George's." This also gives the song a consistent refrain.

"Jamie Jamie" sounds wank so I'd replace that with his surname. The last line needs to lose the world "his" So my version would go like this

He is St George's great five eight…. Soward, Soward
The man the Roosters didn't rate, Soward, Soward
He sets em up and scores em too
Does the dance and slots it through
Jamie Soward, St George's number 6

na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na, na na
na na na na na na na na na na na na, na na na na

Jamie Soward St George's number 6

Don't be an idiot.

I gave my opinion for why my version sounds better. It is less drawn out and gives the song a basic refrain - "Jamie Sowads is St George's"

At this point I should inform you that I hold a Doctorate in Football Chantoligy from the University of Manchester, Liverpool Campus.
