Uric acid build up...commenly known as gout.Whilst suspended i stopped drinking but this has had no effect. Cut out seafood,no effect. Quacks put me on some medication which wreaks havoc with my gut but dosnt seem to fix it.Seems to favour my left foot. There is also an ''arthritic gout'' which could be the problem. Only thing that seems to help is Voltaren but i cant keep taking those things every day.

L5/S1 disc tear, L5/S1 bulging disc, S1 nerve root compression causing numb feet, ass and balls.

I have the EXACT same injury...Without the balls thing.

The nerve pain shooting down my leg is killing me tonight.
Needs some traction and maybe some gentle joint mobilization.
Conversely, heat pack on that area will help as well.

But you guys should be seeing some sort of therapist for that.
CH - Let me know how the quartizone injection does.

As for me, I'm coming good from a cold - But the last 2 weeks I've been f**king exhausted and can sleep for ages....wake up tired and stuff, has anyone had Chronic Fatigue here? I'm hoping I haven't run myself down.

I've tried traction. Physio. Chiro. Sports physiologist. Quartizone didn't work at all for me. Seeing a specialist about surgery as soon as work cover approve it.

Did the physio perform the traction or was it a machine?
What about TA exercises, you do them?
What surgery is it, fusing?

When did you do this, was this from an accident?
Yeah quartizone success is questionable, which is troubling considering how much it costs some people.

It was on the machine. Tried it a few times. I got about 6 or so hours of relief.

Don't know about the surgery. But apparently my MRI was "troubling"

I did it at work, lifting a box that was too heavy/repetitive lifting of boxes that are too heavy.

Some physios can do it with a bit of a seatbelt, it can be better for some because it's more gentle.
Hope the surgery helps!
