I rarely get sick, but I am highly allergic to pollen, I don't just get a runny nose, I become covered in hives (ever had hives on the bottom of your feet?) and get severe muscle spasms as well swollen eyelids. If I don't take something my calf muscles stay contracted for 12 hours which and cause the muscle to fatigue and need a few days of rest. It happens at the start of spring every year and sometimes after it's rained for a few days and there's suddenly a very sunny day directly proceeding them (because the pollen in the air spikes). The fact my immune system fights off the pollen so aggressively suggests to me it's pretty strong.

I believe exercising expedites the recovery process by increasing circulation and gets you to sweat it out. It's worked in the past. That and ground flax seeds, honey, fresh oranges and some lemon juice dissolved in hot water.
Have you seen a doctor about this? Have you done some sort of test?
That sounds like it could eventually develop into anaphylaxis.

I have been meaning too but because the antihistamine works I never bother to see the doctor the next day. But after reading up on that condition I think I might. Dying of an allergic reaction wouldn't be a good way to go. Thanks for the heads up.

That would actually help build my immunity to it. It's just when here's sudden spikes that it gets me. I am not like deadly allergic.

I used eat a teaspoon of pollen granules every morning so I could slowly build my immunity. But that stuff tastes so disgusting and has a terrible after taste. Even worse than fish oil.

See your doctor, get referred to an allergy specialist. They will run tests and test to see the exact substances you are allergic to. Then you go go onto desensitisation injections to increase your immunity. Basically you start at a very low dose and slowly increase it.

Would be worth a try IMO. Otherwise you need to start thinking about carrying an epipen and some phenergan wherever you go.

All good Cliffy.
Yeah, I was thinking epipen.

So many people have allergies and intolerance these days, too many chemicals in the world these days.

The more allergic reactions you get, the more severe they become

Get an epipen Cliffy. It really could be the difference between life and death one day

Yeah I think I might get an epipen and get my doctor to get me onto a specialist. I used to just get regular hay fever, but three years ago I started getting the severe allergic reactions at the start of spring and they do seem to be getting worse each time.

it was the public pool, you banana. The problem was allowing my feet to touch the ground. My attempts at swimming were so unspectacular tonight.

honestly, I think they were just distracting me tonight. They seemed to be out more than they usually are when I go swimming and for some reason, tonight I started freaking out a little bit every time I was free floating.

Also, gross public pool water getting inhaled through the nose is painful but sometimes unavoidable, don't know if that's better or worse than swallowing it though your mouth

Went for a run today but forgot to pack my socks, as a result i now have a blister on the instep of both feet. I pushed through the pain during my run like a boss.
