The Dark Side of Australian Cricket

Its a dumb article written by a stupid jackass australian who sold a bunch of lies to the new york times as they dont know cricket they probably assumed it was at least semi accurate

Like i could really pick the article apart from a truth perspective but its hardly worth my time. Just an obvious one though he doesnt understand what happened here

In 2013, the national team captain at the time, Michael Clarke, received a modest fine for telling an English player, James Anderson, “to get ready” for a broken arm. The Australian, whose threat was caught by a live microphone, appeared frustrated that Anderson, a pitcher, or bowler, was defeating attempts to get him out when he was batting at a match in Brisbane.

Anderson had been in for 4 overs, england were behind by heaps of runs and australia had a whole day to bowl at england. There was no frustration

Now, if he had bothered doing some research into his article he might have discovered a few more likely causes
1. Clarke and Anderson just dont like each other
2. Anderson is a bit of a merkin himself
3. Australia had been playing england too often and animosity between the two sides was quite high.

Anderson likely took exception to a comment by bailey and he said something to bailey (see reason 2) and clarke because of reasons 1 and 3 kicked off
