I got started but got stuck somewhere in a room with zombie things I couldn't kill.

Might start again if someone can tell me how to get last this level?

I'm assuming you came across a stage 4 infection

There's only 2 of them all game I can remember

In the dark basically try and get the generator on, don't waste time fighting

On a basketball court you have to kill the merkin

Stage 4 infection = Bloater.

7 of them in the game but I think only 2 of them were mandatory to fight. I do t want to give too much away due to spoilers etc.

If you are in the basement as described by cherry Poppins just turn on the generator and run like hell.

Reading through this thread gave me so many memories of the 3 nights I spent playing

I showed a mate the game around a year ago and he only started the game, he said it rips your heart out before the start of the game proper

The start really sets in motion feelings for Joel and an understanding of him like nothing I've experienced other than original Max Payne or similarly Walter White in breaking bad
