We need gymnastic coaches. Watching a winger backflip over his opposition to score in the corner would be entertainment

The head coach of any team is just a figurehead and a motivator.....nothing more.

The specialist assistant coaches are the ones that do the real work.

Thats why they should be paid less. I would bring back the captain coach.
Who would be the best present day captain coach? Cameron Smith probably but he also has refereeing duties so I would get someone else in there like Slater.
Maybe Maloney he throws a good BBQ which is what is needed when the chips are down.

Needs cheerleader coaches to teach the players the art of try celebrations. That will get the crowds in.

Graham Eadie at Halifax and Roger Millward at Hull KR the best capt/coaches I ever saw in England. The good old days lol

Case in point.

Michael Hagan is the true genius behind QLD origin success in the first 5 years....

I was listening to a MMA podcast today which they talked with Anthony Seibold for a good 2 hours.
It gave good insight on his coaching philosophies.
During his play days at the Broncos he was doing his teaching degree.
He went on to do his masters and graduated with a very high GPA.. topped the class actually.
He was immediately offered a job lecturing at the university which he did for a couple years.
Not surprising Souths look like a well coached team this year.
