Hilarious that so many Holden fans are playing it all down - and the exact same sort would have been first in line to mock Seton when Perkins and Hansford went from last to first in '95.

Whincup got greedy, Seton was struck down with a valve spring popping a few laps out.

Besides, the cars now are just badge engineered clones by and large.

Who wouldn't be greedy to win Bathurst? I'd understand if this were the Gold Coast or Sandown, but it's bloody Bathurst.

Pace car driver should have got his name on the trophy. Probably did as many laps as everyone else. Great drive by Mostert & Morris to come from last and take it out. No matter how the race panned out you can't take that away from them.

Felt for Canto and Reynolds with the alternator clapping out & Van Jizzburger's stall in the pit. It's a cruel race sometimes.

Was happy to see the Davison boys finish fourth in the Merc. It placed a lot higher than I thought it would.

Good to see Ingall hasn't changed one bit, still a massive merkin.

Dick Johnson took the (very ugly) new falcon for a lap or 3 over the weekend, gave it a bit of a run too, old merkin still has some pace about him

Some relativies met him in the Sydney race last year with access to the car sheds, they said every driver was good except him, acted like a merkin.
