After tonights performance, you guys are absolute certainties for the spoon, Cronulla were absolutely woeful but still managed to put you away comfortably. Forget semi-final talk, that is utter nonsense, you will do very well to avoid being last by a comfortable margin.

The sad fact is that your team is at full strength so your playing roster can't be bolstered, whereas most other teams have at least a few players to come back into their squads.

You guys are in for a very long season ;-)

I want Rastus to enjoy eating his words for a few months come september.

King, Haumono, Mcguiness were all out and Randall is about 70%...

Geez who does rastus support, Souths? 1 game mate. Really we only lost the match in a 10 minute period. Calm down. Teams get beat by 35, but in the same week we get beaten by 8 and we're certainties for the Wooden Spoon. Whatever.

We'll see ;-) By the way, another prediction, the Kiwis will be the SEVENTH team in a row to put 40+ on Manly at their home ground :D . Now that's some record

Rastus is right. Manly are in trouble and look extremely vulnerable. Slow start against Auckland could mean 40 points to nil at halftime. Then crowds will drop off then sponsors will lose interest. Wooden spoon is a very, very strong possibility.

Atleast we Can win an NRL wooden Spoon DD.

Poor Old Bears. First Gallop looks like supporting your Bid, and then the NRL puts the boot in any expansion plans. Maybe we'll see you on the park in....oh...I don't know...how does 2018 sound?

Yes in fact I do. Unfortunately Souths ran last, but I seem to recall Manly ran second last - big difference is Souths are much better this year, Manly if anything, are worse :D

Yep, sure are some shockers in that lot - funny thing is that Stringer is the only one there atm. It's no coincidence that he is by far the best buy of them all - and he is streets ahead of any prop you have. Funny that :D

Pity he won't be around for Souths next year.

In your eyes, he may be better than any prop Manly has. I believe differently and was so happy when Souths signed him.

Agree to disagree.

Yeah, you got 1 good player out of about 20. The rest we to the Souths "centrelink" to collect their last pension cheque ;-) ;-)

What happened to one of your major signings in Pethybridge? He retired 3 times but what do Souths do, well they sign him and are going to have to pay him but I don't think you'll see him in 1st grade. Another great buy!!! ;-) ;-)

  Do the initials KM mean anything to you ;-) . How much is he on and how much 1st grade will he see this season    . How much did it cost you to get rid of Walker, Dorn etc etc all those players that didn't fit in with Dessies "new" culture

Dessie new culture will be turning out premierships for us while Souths continue their culture, carving out wooden spoons each year

  Not on the evidence so far - as a matter of fact, based on the evidence to date "Dessie" should change his nic to "lathe" cos he's going to be turning out a hell of a lot of wooden spoons in the near future :D .

In fact, Manly have been the worst performing side so far this year, and that is saying something. Gee, if Manly hadn't of got 66% of the possession against NQ they would never have won that game, and they only just managed that. Nup, it's a very long year ahead for Manly, no doubt about it :D

Souths lost to a Roosters side that haven't played that bad in 5 years, they had a close but scrappy game against the tigers that are still working themselves out and from all reports you struggled with the bye but got the points after the ref awarded a no try.........Yeah you guys are on fire.
