Hey Perth Sharkie how would you compare the buzz about the super 14 team as opposed to the buzz about the sharks/warriors game?

There's no comparison, really.

There's no hype about the Sharks match, and probably won't be until a couple of weeks before the game. And once the game is over, rugby league will be long forgotten about again.

The Super 14 situation is totally different, Perth will be getting a franchise so rugby union will be here permanently (unfortunately). There was a lot of hype when the decision was announced for Perth to host a team, but that has since died down. I expect it to build up as we get closer to next season and as more details about the new team are released.

It really sucks living in a town where Aussie Rules and rugby union have the media in their pocket.

Yep us queenslanders have the same problem: There's only two teams that play league, there's one cricket team there's one union team etc etc
Geez I can't wait till GC Dolphins get up and going.

West Coast Eagles look like having a good season which further detracts from league. If we continue to win and the Warriors go well how stupid will this decision look when it comes to game day? Good one sludge.
