Been watching him closely for 2 seasons now. I would have liked him too take Orfords spot for the 09 season, but I have always been a hater of Orford..

Had to be the number one player in the QLD Cup this year. Hopefully we dont re-sign and Orford. Hokko to first grade and Cherry-Evans to QLD Cup.

How have you been watching him for 2 seasons now? I thought he was injured pretty much all of 08 and in 09 was playing in QLD. I think I saw 2 of their games on TV.

he played the last half a dozen games in 08, understandibly, he didn't contribute a great deal to the side..

I remember seeing himgo down in the first 10 minutes of a trial in Cabramatta in early 08 and knew it was his season right there and then.

I got all the SCSE games sent too me :)

Sweet. So he does look good then? From the limited game time I saw his long kicking game seemed far superior to ox's. But did not see a great deal of attacking genius. Is he really going to be able to contribute a great deal to our attack?

Trent is a specialist halfback. There is no way that Des has decided already to start Foran in the 7 without giving Hogkinson the opportunity to fight for the spot in the pre season.

Hogkinson will vie for the position & i hope he gets it with Foran as 5/8.

He is one unhappy Jan at the moment. I am tipping he won't last the season at Manly.

April Belle mmmm? what on earth are you going on about. every one of your posts are so far off the mark its not funny. Oh well it is what makes the forum interesting reading.

There is a lot of pressure in the NRL. Trent is a fine prospect and could be the find if the season but don't put too much pressure on especially if it is:

6 Foran
7 Hodgkinson

They are both quite young.

Absolutely agee 100% with what you said. I think we should give these guys an opportunity, however we should stay patient and allow them time to gain valuable experience. these kids are the future of our club.

As a Parramatta fan it makes me sad to see Trent playing for Manly but I hope he is great for you guys (just not against the Eels).

Interesting if he rejoined parra, played his junior football from age 11 at cabra with hayne and k keating. Had a great combo with keating at club football and extended that into junior reps with parra. Manly would be crazy to let him go without seeing him play some NRL.

Forget all the dribble from the doomsdayers.

HODKINSON is happy now he is back in Sydney with the 1st grade Manly team. He was only feeling a tad homesick last year.

Des has had a word to him about the possibility of starting in the halves and he is keen to go.

Aprilbelle and all the rest will have to make do with ROBSON :D:D:D:D:D
