Season Opener at the Gabba.

ACA All Stars XI vs. KFC Australian XI

Already known that The ACA will have Matt Hayden, Adam Gilchrist, Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne playing for them.

Have to wait and see what the team line ups will be

It will be awesome to see Warney in action again. I'd love to see Haydos go off like the good old days too.

No, they have to wait untill the Australians decide on their team

Last year was great with Hodgey and Langer just belting the Aussies around with ease after Dighton and Gilly went ballistic at the top

It also showed why they struggle at T20 when they put together their batting lineup

This is the original all stars lineup. Ferguson, Nannes and Harwood are injured, the latter 2 obviously replaced by Warne and McGrath, Ferguson and Dussey replaced by Gilly and Hayden with Duss probably representing Aus, although their only confirmed rep so far is the skipper who demanded selection. All stars probably also need an all rounder

Bradh Hodge (c) (VIC)
Dan Harris (SA)
Lee Carseldine (QLD)
David Hussey (VIC)
Nathan Reardon (QLD)
Callum Ferguson (SA)

Shane Harwood (VIC)
Dirk Nannes (VIC)
Umar Gul (WA)
Rhett Lockyear (TAS) 12th man

Happy with those selections, good mix of youth, players near selection and the usual.

Possible batting order

Clarke, Warner, White, Dussey, Voges, Bailey, Haddin, McDonald, Smith, McKay, Siddle, Tait (bowling only)

May have overdone the batting lineup a bit, think Clarke should open, hopefully do the least damage up there

What do you mean Tait bowling only? You can't have twelve.

Both teams will be allowed 12 players however only 11 will bat and 11 are available to bowl. The match begins at 6.30pm (Brisbane time) on Sunday at the ‘GABBA

No Hauri?

In selecting the team we have not considered any of the Test players who have been heavily involved in the recent one-day campaign in India to allow them to prepare for the first Test.
