I had no idea society was still so prudish:

Goes to show that Queensland are quite behind the times. I wonder if they still have "mens" and "ladies" areas of pubs?

I think it's more the 'mother' mentality.
The same ones that run you over with their pram and also judge other mother's for bringing up their child differently to them.

    100%

The ones that proudly tell you they had a natural birth, only breastfeed, and did some god awful thing with the placenta

I thibk its more the fake news is real news mentality.
All the anonymous commenters confirm it .

Mothers are the biggest bigots in Australia ...everyone knows it and has a story to prove it.

..running you over with their prams...bragging about breastfeeding and natural childbirth...they are the pits, lauding it over everyobe with their smug "I can make and nurture babies " mantra.

They are the worst, particularly the breastfeed only ones.

I must admit, I've never been the subject of scorn or rebuke when I've entered a Parents room to change or (when she was toilet trained) toilet my daughter myself, but in the absence of a Parents room, I have copped some strange looks for bringing her into the mens.

I mean, seriously...what the f*ck do they expect me to do?

Old shopping centres built in the late 70's or early 80's, shopping centres and theme parks overseas, even in modern shopping centres there aren't Parents rooms near every public toilet.

Bit hard to make a 250m dash to the nearest Parents room when the young un' is busting SC.

Who cares whether it's men or women giving you looks?

Well the general direction of the comments in this thread is the bigotry and entitled attitude of mother's (I know you didn't say it ir even imply it but there you go)

Overseas theme parks are.in a different culture so its hard to label.QLD with the culture of other nations.

Which shopping centes havent received a renovation since the 80's?
Hell Myer Miranda Fair (or whatever hip 2017 name it has now) has even replaced it's womens toilets with a unisex toilet..which sits alongside a mens toilet and parents room!
    Take your pick !

Yeah maybe be objective, they're awful to each other as well.
It's literally a thing, go onto any mothers group and they're bickering about what is difference in styles (And making out its wrong).

They are probably the most entitled members of society these days; I'm sure you'll refuse to even consider that but they are awful.
Most mums are a ok but this bunch, not so much.

I never had any issues when it came to changing my kids in parents rooms.

These days I do get a few weird looks though when my daughters (5 and 6 years old) go to the toilet when I take them out as they are all about being independent and want to go into the females toilets so I stand just outside the entrance waiting for them.

So it's mothers getting assessed and critisised frm all angles -including but certainly not limited to,other mothers.

    Thats hardly a mother mentality.
Why do you go onto mothers groups anyway ?

This forum overall is for rugby league fans. Does the fact that there is bickering about which team is best and downright verbal bullying mean that rugby league fans are a bunch of awful bitches? Is that a leaguie mentality?
.....come to think of it. ....
