Was pretty much text book. Perfectly executed. Was a courageous and exciting play. The kind of contest for the ball and defensive play making effort we should be encouraging in the game. Basically the effort did not deserve to be punished and Qld did not deserve 6 again.

The rule needs to be changed so that when the kicking team recovers a charge down it is the same tackle so they need to scamper to get another kick away. No tackle count restart.

I don't like charge downs because of how the rule is. Wades play was everything you said but it wasn't smart, just hammer the kicker and hope to put him off. Charge downs result in a fresh set for the kicking team pretty much every time.

QLD did deserve 6 again since it's the rule and it shouldn't change. It's not a knock on so it's risk-reward.

I think the rule should change. The risk should be on the team that is kicking. The defence has done its job stopping the set and forcing them to kick. The kick should be seen as a sort of a surrender. Especially those down town bomb kicks at the end of 5 hit ups.
The risk for the defender should just be spending all that effort trying to force a charge down for more often than not no result. If they actually get there it is a excellent play by them and poor play by the kicker. It should be all advantage to the defence.
