How about it NRL?

I had a shit day at work and want to go home and watch some football.

At this rate I'll have to find a superleague match in the UK to watch.

I always loved watching Monday night games. Good way to ease into the week.

I could watch Wed night, Fri night (1 game, not continuously Bronx), Sat, Sun, Mon.

That 6pm start on Friday is f**ken dumb.

I'm not against Thursday games, but Thursday or Wednesday wouldn't bother me.

Saturday arvo games during the last 2 races of the quaddie piss me off, and 3 games in a row can be a bit much.


I really do think that there is room for a mid-week "knock-out" Cup.

It could be a mix of NSW Cup players, fringe players and 1st grade players, depending on who wants the dough more. It would be a good way to showcase up and comers, probably be a more freely scoring game for viewers and a way to blood more players in a lead up to expanding to Perth + 1.

Game length could shortened to what, 30-35 min halves? More interchanges?

I can't be the only fan that would be interested in watching this? March Madness has boomed in the last couple of years. It would bring roster management into it and increase the talent pool.

It would also give the 24 hr channel a bit more content. :smirk:

just put on a DVD/VHS/BetaMax of a game featuring your club. Grand Finals are nice. Or the Essentials DVD they released a few years ago of each club

Now I know what your thinking, yes Carney has not pissed himself to death yet.

But his club wasn't playing on the superleague game.

Superleague and you thought the Knights played badly.

Move the early Friday game to Monday. Leave everything else as it is.

i think the best approach would be a surprise, random game..

like a pop-up store, but instead of a store it's a game of rugby league..

you turn on the tv, expecting to watch married at first bachelor, masterMKR or one of those other shithouse reality shows, and instead - BAM - right there on your screen is a game of rugby league.

no-one knew it was going to be on.

not even the players (three of them may even be drunk at the time.)
