There isn't many around here..

We will struggle to hold 7th for no other reason then key injuries and not enough quality depth to cover.. Scoring goals is a massive problem at the moment... Tristan is way past his best and Di Michelle is massively erratic.

LBM tries hard to score but he is rubbish more often than not.. The shining light is the emergence of the younger guys out of the academy.

Hopefully next season we will have better cover for injuries as the team has improved in a big way under Zola and is playing good football once again.

You may want to change the thread title to West Ham United or similar, as this is a teams sub forum.

we need Cole back, Ashton maybe?

but we need to play Stanislas more often, hes playing really well

We may see Cole before the end of the season if we are lucky but Ashton, as per usual, is a long way off..

Junior looks the goods doesn't he.. We are missing Behrami and Collison out of the midfield so i am not sure where he is going to fit in on a regular basis when players are back.

Groin injury.. Hopefully back next game.

It's been a strange midfield we have been playing especially with Neil at the back point of it.

We're forever blowing bubbles. Bad luck 'Ammers

Are any of you West Ham fans old enough to remember the Cockney Rejects? Some great footage of them doing 'bubbles' on Youtube. Great band in the late 70's & West Ham fanatics. Always had a soft spot for West Ham after the 1975 FA cup.

Finished up 9th..

Not a bad effort.. Hopefully with some strenghtening of the squad they will be able to sustain a few injuries and not suffer as bad as this season..

Next season with new owners and hopefully new money to go with it should see a good season..

Thankfully it's only a short off season.

are Tristan and Di Michele going back to there clubs or staying?

I certainly hope they are.. Tristan offers nothing at all, he srtolls around the place doing nothing except give the ball away.. Di Michele tried hard but is just not up to it..

Ashton, King Cole, Savio, one of the juniors and bring one or two decent in will be required.

Was hoping Neil might leave but he looks like staying.. Keep an eye on him for the Socceroos, he is slowing noticeably. We ended up playing him at the back of a triangle formation in the midfield for a while.. That worked pretty well, at right back he needed Behrami there to cover for him all the time.. A job Behrami did very well until he got injured.

im pretty sure neil is goin

Socceroos captain Lucas Neill looks set to quit English Premier League side West Ham after rejecting the east London club's offer of a new one-year contract.Neill, who became the Hammers' highest-paid player when he joined them from Blackburn in 2007, after agreeing a STG70,000 ($A141,000) a-week deal, has turned down the offer of a new agreement worth STG2 million ($A4.03million) a year, the Times newspaper reported.
The move comes after the cash-strapped club said they were confident the 31-year-old would stay after they offered him STG500,000 ($A1.01million) more than their original offer.
The 31-year-old defender, who is in Dubai with the Australia squad preparing for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Qatar, had been linked with moves to Turkish outfit Galatasaray and Greek giants Olympiacos and will become a free agent on June 30.

I won't be upset if he does go.. Will miss his experience though..
