Does this drunken f**ktard have any sort of credibility?

Cool, we are having a bad season. Now it's time for all the articles to come out and bash the tigers into oblivion which has been done on a regular basis this season

Tigers are heading into a new era next year and onwards. Virtually a brand new squad, a new centre of excellence worth 57 million and a strong board (all from next year onwards obviously) yet the media want to continue making us their scapegoat.

Can some team come in and start sucking more than us please?

Kicking out a branded NRL team is dumb as f**k, especially a Sydney merger that has 2 sets of fans.

Matty Johns added on the debate to remove a Sydney club: ”There's a rumour that the salary cap will be scrapped to create a survival of the fittest.”

No there isn't.

Had a lol at that.

Are the nrl journos just programmed robots to bash the game?

One thing I can credit the afl is their journos actually promote their code rather than bash it from pillar to post

If they do get kicked out, how long before he writes an article condemning the NRL for giving the AFL a "free kick" in Sydney's west?

He does like to whinge both sides of the argument....

Western Sydney is a rugby league strong hold and has the highest populous of Sydney

But yeah let's kick out a team that has 18,000 members (more than his team actually) from that area and basically hand afl a free run

Slothfield logic

It wasn't that long ago that the tigers had the biggest crowds in Sydney. All Sydney clubs need to do way more, but getting rid of one would do some much more irreparable damage to rugby league than good.
There needs to be better scheduling (across the nrl & rugby league in general), fan engagement, pricing, advertising, junior structures, much better stadium facilities both at anz, Allianz & suburban grounds and boards both at club and nrl level that are restructured and full of people with the sports best interests at heart.
But no, get rid of a team, that'll solve everything!

Lets be honest.. on field results are what drives crowds in Sydney...

Last year the Roosters missed the finals for the first time in years and averaged 10,000....

If you are bottom of the ladder your crowds are going to suck...

Yep

I got home from work on Friday (admittedly it's hard for me to get to a game on Friday)

But I just couldn't be bothered with the way my teams going.

Last year, the corresponding game got 17k against an out of state team

This time 7k

If we had the success of a Roosters, Brisbane, Melbourne etc we'd be up there easy

he's in the business of getting as many clicks to his articles (use that term loosely) so if he comes up with an article that outages people, like kicking out the WT then it'll get lots of clicks - and then generating a lot of interest.

Whereas if he did an article about scheduling to maximize WT's crowds when they play the Gold coast then not many people would read it.

His article is usual hack slop, but it brings up one good point - the need for a 2nd team in Brisbane. The Commission is a disgrace for letting this slide. We have the Lions and Reds at their most vulnerable and we do nothing. The time is right NOW for a 2nd Brisbane team.

The 2nd Brisbane club also won't have Super League to deal with. I imagine the Crushers weren't given a chance to do anything because of it.

But the Einstein from Perth, doesn't believe positions on the ladder affect Sydney crowds. So it must be the pigeon sh*t on the seats.

I wouldn't pay attention. Imagine if someone suggested kicking out his precious sharks a few years ago.
