What we need to do before the finals

2. Find a half back that can Kick to corners to create contest - that why we got McDonald.
3. Fix the Centre/Wing defence situation.
4. Get Dugan to Join the back line running back inside.
5. Get halves to through cutout passes more regularly to stop the defence lines
6. Build a strategy to best use Bench eg Don't change players at half time - they just had a 10-minute break.

Agree with all this plus do better grubbers into in goal and don't re-sign McGregor until at least we have finished top 4.

It's a simple case of having to get there first and hopefully not limp into them like 2015. It would be good to have the McDonald/Aitken/Milne defensive woes sorted. Also, something must be done with improving the general kicking of McCrone.

Agree Walpole. Everybody had us at the bottom.

Still short on a experienced bench forward. Will Mathews injury was a big one however, Host and Sele holding their own but still learning. Backline still young, Tiane, Nene and Aitken fast as but still learning as well.

As jeffdragon said if injuries are kind especially SOO period happy days. The team have belief so who knows.

These next few rounds they play a few teams not in the 8 or on the fringes. Beat them and give them less chance to catch up or make the 8. That is the big thing starting with Dogs this week.

If Saints make top 4 with a couple of rounds left, then you can maybe trial juniors to rest some key players and keep them fresh for finals but hay, lets make them first.

Saints currently 6 points from 9th spot which is a great buffer to have.

Mary does seem to use the bench to give our forwards a break, which is needed these days, but he doesn't use the bench to blood some of our young guns.
We need to see the like of Dufty and Field given a chance to get game time before next season .
We just can't wait till next year and drop one of them as our fullback

Mary wont give our young speedsters a go until the touchy's and refs can keep up with them.
Archer needs to promote faster refs, preferably from the St George Illawarra region.
