I am chasing punters stories and memories about the day to add to the Biff Page - got a memory you'd like to share. I've got two older entries already posted.

While your there you can check out some all time great Eels players entries.

I first started this page on Cumberland way back in 2006

Cheers
Quigs.

Dont remember too much after the Atkins try and Cronin goal other than the Kenny dummy to seal the day.
I was drunk within 30 minutes of full time. Apparently we had a huge party in the backyard. Im told I had a great time.
What a day. Nothing like the first ever.

I was at Parra Leagues all day. Saw the team off in the morning and watched the game in the auditorium. I have never been in a room that was pumping as hard as the auditorium was when the Eels won it.That place was literally jumping with delerious drunken Parra fans, including myself. Later on, we walked out into the street and the place was jammed packed with people, buses and cops. Must have been just after we left that the stadium was burned down because I don't remember seeing anything unusual other than Parra fans celebrating their first title.

People reckon Leichardt Oval has atmosphere...It is a 'pre school kindergarten' compared to the good old days at Cumberland...

The Parramatta fans of those days never took a backward step. Those were the days Quigs..those were the days....

Good thing we didn't have 50c pieces back then. Probably throwing Holey Dollars, ey Pete?

 You could take Eskies into the ground. That probably fuelled more incidents...
Just loved those memories and matches...I was about 18 at the time..remember it like yesterday....
