Which Club Should Go?

I think it's inevitable a Sydney team will go.

The recent poll suggested the Tigers should be the ones, however the NRL wants a club out Campbelltown way.

So who's in the most danger?
The Knights won't go, they need a team in Newcastle.
Roosters, Souths, Bulldogs have too much money.
I had to laugh that despite being reigning Premiers and flush with cash 14% of people thought the Sharks should go.

So who the only club that still owes the NRL wads of cash?
The only thing saving the Dragons is their history, I wonder how much longer that will count?

The obvious one to go if you people are really fair dinkum is Easts.
They should be swallowed by Souths as they bring nothing to the game and sponge of every other clubs juniors.
50 years ago they couldn't run a successful junior comp and pushed into Souths and Saints areas.
Of course that will not happen so the amalgamation should have been Dogs and Wests and the Tigers should have been gone (sad as it is) and at that time there was more logic to that than what they did.

IMO the first club that should go is the NZ Warriors as it is the National RL not the Tasman/South Pacific League. Ditch the club over the ditch and add an extra QLD team from most probably Brisbane West region.
Leave the Sydney clubs to return to their Suburban grounds and take one game each per season to the NSW/QLD country areas.

I had a mad Souths supporter......well all Souths supporters are barking mad.......say the Roosters have to stay cause they are a foundation club and it goes without saying he hates the Roosters.

Madness! Abandon an entire countries worth of viewership, fans and talent (serious, serious talent) because you dont want to change the 'N' in 'NRL'? How ridiculous.

If anything, there should be an additional team in NZ, along with Brisbane.

I'd say the opposite. Add another team in NZ.

Those Kiwis passion and support is Rugby Union first and foremost. League is a poor cousin and besides Manly, Dogs and Roosters would bleed all the talent dry.

There was an all black played recently where the ground was packed to the rafters.
League is never going to reach the popularity that the All Blacks have.

So? Even the dregs we are getting from union over there are some of the best and most exciting players in the league - Johnson, Bromwich, RTS, and so on. Any chance to grow the game over there should be taken, and abandoning it would be cray cray.

Hey Benny.....the Talent will still flow into the NRL as the statistics prove that the game is predominantly 60% Polynesian origin players and growing. They have well and truely infiltrated all the teams competing in the competition with their talent and skills.

Sorry mate, can't agree.

Half the talent in the NRL comes from NZ! Plus they seem to pull decent crowds.

If the warriors go we lose a whole nation to Rugby union and that's also potentially a lot of fans who no longer care.

As for that, it's like saying Rugby league is the poor cousin of AFL or cricket in Australia.

probably are too many sydney teams now BUT how do you decide ? Look at areas and souths / easts could go into 1. Saints thank god 'based " in the gong if we can become financial then safe. I would like a team say up at sunshine coast area of qld or even bundy area and that would be 3 qld teams - maybe gold coast gets bumped across the border Of course we all know who we would like to be relocated but buzz would have a heart attack !!!!!!!!!! If only they didnt own the ground

Think wests should move to wa it's logical on so many levels, new team in Brisbane if manly were smart they'd share their time between brooky and gosford, merge parra and Canterbury to be western Sydney bulldogs based out of parra that's my take on it!
