- The word going around backstage RAW last night was that management including Vince McMahon were very happy with Jeff Hardy's work during the Vince McMahon angle as well as the main event. They were also very happy to hear the loud pop he received after pinning WWE champion Randy Orton. Management is now firmly behind him, thus he will be receiving a big push now and the feeling is that Jeff is ready to accept the responsibility that goes along with it.

Ron Killings' release from TNA was confirmed last weekend. He asked for his release after TNA held a meeting where TNA said they would let anyone who wanted to leave, out of their contract. It was pretty much considered to be a formality he'd be let go. The two parties formally agreed last weekend.
Killings has a spot waiting for him in AAA in Mexico if he decides to take it. As soon as his working papers are complete, which should be in February, he will likely be working there.
On his MySpace page regarding his release, he talked about going back to his "original stomping grounds." Early in his career, he worked the indies in Georgia and the Carolinas, and of course, there was his brief run in WWE. It is unknown at the moment if WWE is interested in him or not. However, what is known is that Jeff Hardy and Umaga are pushing company officials to sign him to a contract.
- Sources say their are also no current plans for Rob Van Dam to return to action in WWE. Those close to the situation say RVD isn't interested in working a full-time schedule at this time.
-- Former ECW Champion Rob Van Dam said during a recent interview that he does not feel that WWE should be testing of marijuana. He said that when you are dealing with things such as anti-depressants or painkillers, weed should be the least of WWE's worries. If you remember, RVD was busted by police last year with Sabu after winning the WWE Championship smoking marijuana. If you fail a marijuana test in WWE you are not subject to suspension but are fined for the violation.

- The general feeling within WWE on Mr. Kennedy is that his current program with Shawn Michaels is sort of a "sink or swim" situation for him and if he doesn't step up, he'll be reduced to working mid-card matches for the rest of the near future. Sources say Kennedy is listening to any and everyone for advice on how to improve his skills in the ring. Kennedy is said to have little confidence in his own skills as a performer, which could be the reason he has been trying new finishers and new things in the ring. Kennedy used to be close with Steve Austin, but Austin recently said in a media interview that Kennedy is listening to too many people.
