Hopefully Edge or Undertaker to win the rumble.
Then get to see a Y2J, HHH, HBK, Umaga, Jeff Hardy and Ken Kennedy Elimination Chamber.

Edge would be my pick. The guy is one of the most consistent performers in the business, and deserves it more than a washed up older guy on an ego trip (Undertaker/HBK/HHH).

Carolyn sent the following: Take it for what its worth, but local advertisements here in Vegas for the No Way Out in February with the Elimination Chamber are promoting Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Umaga vs. Bobby Lashley as the guys in the Chamber match.

http://www.sescoops.com/wwe/Who_s_In_The_E...es_At_WWE.shtml

Don't know how valid the source is and Orton being in the chamber match but no HHH would suggest Hunter would be champ by this match

The only way to get HHH the title by NWO would be to put it on him at the Rumble meaning he'll need to beat Hardy at Armageddon

it would also suggest Smackdown will win the Rumble or at very least the person who wins it goes after the World Heavyweight Title

finally, if they are defending the WWE title @ No Way Out as well the only match left would be HHH © vs Jericho

I'd actually enjoy that, although HBK will have his work cut out for him as the only wrestler in the match really capable of carrying others. Jeff can do a few insane spots, Umaga is perfect for the setting, Orton fits, and Lashley/Kennedy can use this as a make or break match. Neither of them has set the ring afire (Lashley in the last two years, Kennedy in the last six months).

But I'd buy the PPV for those two matches alone. HHH vs. Jericho would be ok, although it'd be just another 'HHH over Jericho' as he seems to love booking.

A few bits of interesting news

Source - PWInsider

- The word going around backstage RAW last night was that management including Vince McMahon were very happy with Jeff Hardy's work during the Vince McMahon angle as well as the main event. They were also very happy to hear the loud pop he received after pinning WWE champion Randy Orton. Management is now firmly behind him, thus he will be receiving a big push now and the feeling is that Jeff is ready to accept the responsibility that goes along with it.

A trial title run between The Rumble and No Way Out?

- In a recent newsletter to it's Cyber Club members, Playboy announced that WWE Diva Candice Michelle will be doing a “girls spread” for the Playboy Cyber Club.

Source: Wrestling Observer
- WWE hasn't made a decision yet as to whether or not they will bring Tammy "Sunny" Sytch back to the company yet. WWE does have her contact information now and she was told to keep in touch with the company, so anything is possible.

Ron Killings' release from TNA was confirmed last weekend. He asked for his release after TNA held a meeting where TNA said they would let anyone who wanted to leave, out of their contract. It was pretty much considered to be a formality he'd be let go. The two parties formally agreed last weekend.

Killings has a spot waiting for him in AAA in Mexico if he decides to take it. As soon as his working papers are complete, which should be in February, he will likely be working there.

On his MySpace page regarding his release, he talked about going back to his "original stomping grounds." Early in his career, he worked the indies in Georgia and the Carolinas, and of course, there was his brief run in WWE. It is unknown at the moment if WWE is interested in him or not. However, what is known is that Jeff Hardy and Umaga are pushing company officials to sign him to a contract.

- Sources say their are also no current plans for Rob Van Dam to return to action in WWE. Those close to the situation say RVD isn't interested in working a full-time schedule at this time.

Would be nice to see all 3 of them back though

-- Former ECW Champion Rob Van Dam said during a recent interview that he does not feel that WWE should be testing of marijuana. He said that when you are dealing with things such as anti-depressants or painkillers, weed should be the least of WWE's worries. If you remember, RVD was busted by police last year with Sabu after winning the WWE Championship smoking marijuana. If you fail a marijuana test in WWE you are not subject to suspension but are fined for the violation.

Anyone surprised?

Looks like it's now or never for Kennedy
- The general feeling within WWE on Mr. Kennedy is that his current program with Shawn Michaels is sort of a "sink or swim" situation for him and if he doesn't step up, he'll be reduced to working mid-card matches for the rest of the near future. Sources say Kennedy is listening to any and everyone for advice on how to improve his skills in the ring. Kennedy is said to have little confidence in his own skills as a performer, which could be the reason he has been trying new finishers and new things in the ring. Kennedy used to be close with Steve Austin, but Austin recently said in a media interview that Kennedy is listening to too many people.

If Kennedy had Austin at his side, that's really all the help he needs. But if HBK is willing to help him out, then there's nobody better to learn from. He's not only one of the all time greats, but he has trained some tremendous workers in his time.

Really, I think there's been a noticeable improvement in Kennedy of late as a speaker, and his matches against HBK have been good. The real test is how well it carries on after the feud ends.

well people said that because Orton was in the rumble poster looking like he was in the rumble match that meant he'll be dropping the belt to Jericho yet it didn't happen.

I think Jeff will lose but it has nothing to do with the poster

Does anyone else find it annoying that Nattie Neidhart (and Victoria and Michelle for that matter) are on a show with no women's title when they can all go? Meanwhile Ashley and Maria continue to feature in the title scene on Raw when neither of them can?

Clearly we need to unify the belts and go back to having the champions being able to float between shows.

World Title, IC Title, Tag Titles, ECW Title, and Women's Title. Cruiserweight too, if they need it.

Say they do it at Summerslam

Undertaker (c) vs. Orton (c)

MVP (c) vs. Jericho (c)

Rhodes & Holly (c) vs. Morrison & The Miz (c)

That's three sexy matches right there. Throw in some feud matches and you're golden.

Failing that, do a tournament as they did when they first unified the gold.

Reason WWE Killed Donald Trump Raw Storyline
By Brad Ingles
Jun 23, 2009 - 6:17:33 PM

WWE writers did not finish the script for Raw until hours before the show, and it was a last minute decision to kill off the Donald Trump new owner storyline. The storyline was originally planned to last for more than a week. The general feeling backstage was negative towards the storyline, and it did not create the reaction Vince McMahon expected from the media.

WWE hoped when they announced Donald Trump would give a full ticket refund for the people in attendance at last night's Raw that the media would pick the story up, but it was another failed attempt as only the local media covered it. The bottom line now is that WWE purchased $250,000 worth of failed publicity.

Update On Undertaker's WWE Return
By Brad Ingles
Jun 23, 2009 - 6:35:05 PM

It is being reported the Undertaker has been working out hard to make his in-ring return following surgery. He is said to still be banged up, but is dedicated to returning in top form. He feels the company needs him and wants to help the Smackdown brand.

WWE hope to have Undertaker back in time for SummerSlam. He has his mind set on an early return, but those in WWE hope he is more cautious and make sure he is completely healthy before returning at this stage in his career.

I dont get it why not have Trump "own" Raw and let him assign a GM and he can just pop up every now and then have the GM fake calls and statements from Trump.. Killing it off after a week is just stupid and shows that Vince hasnt got a clue anymore...
