Redcliffe defeated Ipswich 28-22.

Redcliffe sure pulled this one out of the bag. They didn't play well at all today but Ipswich, having led 22-12 at one stage during the second half, appeared to tire late in the game and the Dolphins got 3 tries to pull off a win.

In the lower grade minor semi finals, Burleigh were too strong for Wynnum in Colts winning 39-14 and Norths rolled the Bears 22-10 in A Grade.

Wynnum led 14-12 at half time but they really fell apart in the second half. The Bears were carving them up at will and won comfortably in the end.

I can see why Ipswich ran out of puff in the end. They had lost quite a few players to injury during the game and apparently only had 12 men on the field when Justin McKay crossed for the match-winning try.

This happened to them at Ipswich but they were able to defeat the Dolphins that day. Not this time though.
