Gee it must be incredibly exhausting turning every small misfortune into a case of racism or bias against yourself.

I almost feel sorry for her.
    Almost.

In her defence it seems the point she was making was that she naturally considered it could be due to racism based on past experience even though in all likelihood it was just a mess up that could have happened to anyone. Slightly different to saying it was because of racism.

Her eventual 'take home' was that people want to be seen so remember to see others truly and deeply. I'm not against that.

But another 'take home' could have been don't sit and pout in a coffee shop for ages stewing over what could and could not be the reason for any wait. Be a bit proactive. #dontbeavictim

The kind that likes to then make a big deal over how long they waited and the "reasons" why.

As sound as it is, I can't see a professional victim such as her taking your advice

This might be the worst thing anyone has ever written on Twitter.

No, just likely she just assumed that the waiter was racist, rather than just f**king hopeless at their job.

It happens to me infrequently, as it does others of all colours, creeds and gender.

She needs to stop being a victim, if she is prepared to sit there for an hour without being served it says more about her than the cafe.

I thought she was highly educated...enough to move on to another cafe if the waiting triggered her that much.

You poor saps don't get it. If it actually happened, she's delighted about it.

People are still outraged by her even when she moves to another country.

Funny, you seem to be doing a good job of that.

    It's the Muslim thing, right?

Yes Spock and because she's black and because she's a woman and because she wears spectacles and because her teeth are big and because she has 2 feet.

It's nothing to do with her obvious, divisive, cynical ambition and pandering to virtue signalling fools like you.

If you can't see the parallels between her and someone like Andrew Bolt or Miranda Divine you're not reading her critically.

Have a go at her article about Noura Hussein and count the instances of cognitive dissidence and intellectual dishonesty. Despite Yassmin's ostensible good intentions, is this article evidence of someone who should be listened to on the topic of whether Islam's values and tenets are compatible with civilisation?

"How is that [Muslim women fighting for their rights] oppression?", she asks while only a few sentences earlier she revealed the oppression that people are actually angry about when she acknowledged that are "deeply patriarchal norms that exist within interpretations of sharia around the world"
