Manly have said matai can not play as he is 'injured'.

Same with pritchard and maybe Sa now.

Yes Ruben reitred a while ago

serious?
got a link?
i'm a diehard manly supporter and heard nothing of this, infact heard from the horses mouth that he can't wait for the RLWC this year....

if NZ aren't gonna put the best team on the paddock, they may as well not show

It happens every year I'm afraid.
Every year, key players are injured & are ruled out of internationals.
Although i heard this year, World cup organisers are going to appoint independent bodies to review those 'injured' players to determine if they actually play come WC time.

yeah happened last year, but he was injured...

pretty sure there was even a post over at the manly website congratulating him on selection.

and again, i've heard from matai's mouth that he was looking forward to playing in the RLWC. and can't find anywhere that manly has said he can't play cause of injury?

are they seeing the future maybe?

it does not make sence?

and why has eeryone else named matai in their squad if he is unavailable?

Fraser Anderson will be a walk up start given his ability to play on the wing, centres and backrow plus his good form. He has a amazing work rate and offers something different to the typical kiwi back rower in the squad.

No way Rapira and company get in over him

Rapira's a prop, so he's not going to get in at Fraser's expense.

World Cup winning team.

I concur...

Very good team there...

I think with some team gelling and match fitness, NZ will go alright....

They won't face Australia in the final - that was always going to be England - but still a very good team..

Really, Nathan Cayless should be nowhere near that team, has been soft all year, and I reckon most parra fans would agree
